App Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 8, 2026

This policy explains how Success Champions LLC, operating Success Champion Networking (SCN), processes information in SCN Speed Networking. It supplements our company privacy policy for this app.

Information and purposes

When you register for a live event, we process your name, chapter, networking goal, optional scheduling link, Zoom participant identifier, meeting identity, and host or participant role. We use this information to authenticate access, let the host approve participants, assign pairs, manage breakout-room transitions, synchronize round timers, and show completed introductions. The app processes Zoom roster and breakout-room information to verify assignments. Meeting and user identifiers from app context are hashed for internal identification.

When you connect Zoom, our server processes an authorization code and access token. A secure browser cookie identifies your connection session. We do not retain the refresh token. The networking app does not capture meeting audio, video, transcripts, or chat content.

Website guest access

Guests can register without installing the Zoom app. An event invitation grants registration access, not host authority or access to the attendee directory. We create a private guest session. The host confirms the registration against a Zoom attendee using their name and roster selection. Invitation and guest-session values are saved in the browser tab’s session storage for reconnecting and are removed by Forget this browser session. Treat the event link as private. The guest session expires with its event and becomes invalid when the host starts a new event. Guest names are not authentication credentials; only the authorized host can approve a roster match.

Who can see your information

The event host can review registered profiles and control the event. Matched partners can view information provided for introductions and follow-up. Other meeting attendees can see information Zoom itself displays, such as your Zoom name. Do not enter confidential or sensitive information in your networking profile.

Zoom provides meeting and authorization services. Netlify hosts the app and stores its encrypted server records. Optional scheduling links lead to services chosen by participants and are subject to those services’ policies. Website usage, support correspondence, and other company services are addressed in the company privacy policy.

Retention and removal

Immediate live event records expire 24 hours after creation. Advance registration records include an event title and scheduled start; they expire 24 hours after that start, which may be up to 30 days after creation; an hourly cleanup removes expired stored records. Ending an event stops the activity but does not immediately erase its record. OAuth connection sessions expire within one hour, with hourly cleanup of expired records. Disconnect Zoom revokes the current connection token and removes that session record.

Removing the app in Zoom does not automatically delete an existing event record or data previously shared with other participants. Event records follow the expiry schedule above. The browser rehearsal stores profiles and pairing history locally until you use Clear rehearsal data or clear the browser’s site data. Downloaded CSV files and copies held by recipients must be managed separately.

Event planner access

Presidents connect their browser through a single-use access link from their verified Zoom host context. This link expires after 10 minutes. An opaque Secure, HttpOnly cookie identifies a server-side planner session lasting up to 30 days. Signing out deletes that session. Planner access permits creating and listing that president’s events, not controlling Zoom meetings from a browser. Expired access records are removed by hourly cleanup.

Security

The service uses HTTPS, encrypted server-side event and token records, browser-bound authorization requests, and role checks for host controls. No system can guarantee complete security. Keep your Zoom account and devices protected.

Your rights and choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and complain to your data protection authority. To exercise these rights, email support@successchampionnetworking.com with the subject SCN app privacy request. Identify the event and approximate date, but do not send passwords or tokens. We may request information reasonably needed to verify your identity and will respond as required by applicable law.

You can edit your introduction in the app, omit the optional scheduling link, disconnect Zoom, or remove the app. Withdrawal does not undo information already shared during introductions.
